The owner got irritated with me for not following his backing directions very well. Later, after I kindly also bought fuel from him, he complained the USA was causing Canada's energy prices to increase. I got the feeling his business had not been profitable lately.

13 viewsThe hills in the Fraser Lake area are covered with these dead conifer trees (maybe spruce). They were apparently killed by the insect larvae that left these tracks under the bark. Possibly the infestation is a side-effect of global warming.
